Our friendly and supportive team are here to help you during your stay and make sure that you reach your French language goals. If you have a question about your classes, accommodation, or the activities, our team will be happy to help you so that you have a productive and enjoyable stay with us in Rouen.

The school is open from 8h00 to 17h00 and there will always be a smiling face at the reception to welcome you from Monday to Friday.

Welcome to Rouen and to French in Normandy.

As CEO, I work to ensure all students have a valuable experience, that their academic needs as well as accommodation and well-being are all supported during their time at French in Normandy and in Rouen. I am the link between students and teachers and am always happy to help students from around the world achieve their French language goals.

Administrative and Welcome services

I assist students with arrival and accommodation services including pick up services, host families, studios, administration, healthcare, transportation.

We know that having a comfortable, appropriate accommodation for students is an important part of a successful stay which is why we carefully select our host families and accommodation providers.

I am happy to help students on a day-to-day basis in case of any questions or concerns. I also work closely with school partners around the world to develop programs and connect French students and French teachers with our school, French in Normandy.

Our Teachers

All our teachers are highly qualified and are native French speakers. They have many years experience teaching French to students from all over the world. They are here to help all our students achieve their best French language results during their stay.

Our DELF DALF instructors

Nezha, Thomas and Emilie are our Delf & Dalf teachers specialized in the preparation of these exams. Highly experienced and accredited, they are the perfect teachers to help achieve your DELF DALF goals. Our 98 % exam pass rate shows the excellence of this program which we have been running for many years.

Eleri Maitland

French in Normandy was founded in 1992 by Tom (deceased) and Eleri Maitland. This school is their lifetime passion project, and all their effort and dedication has been awarded over the past 30 years by students, agents and partners from around the world.
