Course Description

ERASMUS+ Intensive French Language

For Teachers and Educational Staff using French as a Foreign Language

The language development programmes use a communicative approach, with students encouraged and assisted to utilise the language they’ve learnt. This includes tasks in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French, as well as pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. Individual, couple, and group work, conversations, debates, roleplays, presentations, written tasks, and listening exercises are all part of the classroom activity. Participants are actively encouraged to contribute their own views and experiences while creating networks with other foreign students in a pleasant, supportive environment.

Each week, a new project topic is introduced to the students in morning lessons. At the end of the week, students present their project work to the class, which is then utilised as a basis for their evaluation. By exchanging information and experiences related to cultural subjects, the afternoon workshops provide and strengthen participants’ important communication skills. Participants receive targeted feedback thanks to a personal pedagogic dashboard that they fill out with the teacher every week. Students meet with their teachers on a regular basis for tutorials to discuss their progress and methods to improve their learning, as well as to review goals and, if required, assign assignments. Revision sessions, progress exams, and supplementary language and culture seminars are used to address areas for development.
